HUMAN HAIR

SYNTHETIC HAIR

Human hair wigs give an unlimited amount of styling options and versatility.

Human hair wigs allow heat styling which include the use of curling irons, blow dryers, flat irons etc.

The use of high heat is still not recommended even for human hair wigs.

Constant excessive repeated use of heat will damage wigs just like natural human hair.

Most human hair is also able to be dyed/colored but is not recommended unless it is untreated/unprocessed hair which will be stated on every wig.

Human hair wigs also may be taken to a professional hair stylist to be maintained.

For best results, use a brush or comb specifically for wigs.
Your fingertips also work well with styling synthetic wigs.

Do Not Use brushes made for human hair because it will create tension to the synthetic fibers and will damage the hair.

Spray bottle of clean water and/or wig sprays are also helpful to styling synthetic wigs.

Heat styling tools are not to be used on wigs unless the wig is stated as being heat friendly. If so, all directions given from company should be followed.

Keep in mind synthetic wigs are made for convenience and fibers used have “memory” for styles to bounce back to the original condition until wig is ready to be thrown away.

  LACE FRONT WIG

1.
To make a wig look as natural as possible, you must first decide how to hide your hair underneath. The key is making your hair look as flat as possible. Also wearing a wig cap underneath your wig is good for several reasons. It makes the hair flatter while protecting the hair from any friction from the wig cap. Fishnet wig caps are more ideal to give your head a little breathing space.

2.
Before you wig is adjusted, the lace must be cut off. Simply cut the lace all the way off or as much as possible. If your preference is leaving a small strip of lace out, then that is okay but not recommended. Adjust the straps on the wig to fit to your head. If your not gluing your lace wig down follow the next step. If you prefer to glue your unit down skip to step (4).

3.
Using both hands, you hold the wig by the nape and place it on your head catching the front with your forehead. Once it is on you will correctly adjust the wig to make sure it is on properly about one inch back from your hairline. The leave out will still be out. Make sure the ear tabs are aligned right in front of your ears. Once this is done, you want to blend the leave out hair into the half wig to make it look as natural as possible.

4.
If you are using glue, there are a few extra steps to follow. Clean your hairline where the lace will be applied with rubbing alcohol. Apply a scalp protector where the lace will be applied. There is no such thing as too much scalp protector. Apply the lace tape or glue along the perimeter of your hairline will the lace will be applied. Wait 3-5 minutes for the adhesive to dry a little so it can turn into a tacky feeling. Once this step is completed place line wig up with hairline and place the lace directly on the adhesive. With a comb press the lace down along the hairline from ear to ear.
